Continued Expansion for Brough

Supercraft Brough Supercraft Brough

Unison Beeze CNC bending machine delivered to Brough

Following continued expansion and investment at Brough, now employing in excess of 30 personnel, Supercraft has taken delivery of their second new pipe bending machine from Scarborough based company Unison. The £120k purchase is an automated CNC machine with the ability to bend up to 30mm diameter pipes, ideal for the manufacture of complex, multi-bend fuel pipes and ducts for the aerospace industry, where accuracy and repeatability are crucial. This follows an investment of £40k in a Unison EB1000 CNC pipe bender in November 2014 and £70k in a Laser Vision to ensure accurate part conformance.

Brough Site

Since their relocation to the Humber Enterprise Park in mid 2013, the company has gone from strength to strength and this level of investment shows the commitment to their Brough operations, with plans to develop Brough into a self contained engineering facility. The company is in the process of commissioning the pre-weld cleaning facility and has aquired NADCAP approval for Non-Destructive Testing, with NADCAP welding approval planned for the end of 2015. BSI AS9100 dual site approval has also been obtained and Supercraft is looking to develop spot & seam welding capability and a treatments & paint facility for Brough later this year. The Supercraft head office resides in Byfleet, Surrey.
